Dragons Captures Lead Early To Defeat Emperors

Emperors fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-3 loss to Dragons on Sunday. Dragons scored on a groundout by Dorian Lippens and a single by Luca Pastor in the first inning.

In the first inning, Dragons got their offense started. Lippens grounded out, scoring one run.

Dragons scored three runs in the third inning. Dragons scored its runs on a home run by Lippens.

Lippens led things off on the mound for Dragons. He allowed zero hits and one run over two innings, striking out four.

Jakob Boldt led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Emperors. He surrendered three runs on two hits over one inning, striking out two and walking zero. Casper Urbanus, Sem Staub, and Zeb Cappaert each contributed in relief for Emperors.

Dalton Ketema, Marco Lopez esser, Cappaert, and Urbanus each collected one hit to lead Emperors.

Dragons tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Mark Van Daalen led the way with three.
