Emperors Falls To Dragons After Fifth Inning Score

Emperors lost the lead late in a 5-3 defeat to Dragons on Sunday. The game was tied at one with Dragons batting in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run for Dragons.
Dragons scored three runs in the sixth inning. Dragons big bats were led by J’Mar Calliste, Wouter Rijpstra, and Nando Mostaert, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Julien Muyldermans led things off on the hill for Dragons. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six and walking one.
Ryan Hoogendoorn was on the hill for Emperors. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Dieudonné Van Zoelen and Lucas Den Duijn entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Jamie Peeters led Emperors with two hits in three at bats. Emperors stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Raphaël Smeenk led the way with three.
Dragons was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Calliste had the most chances in the field with 11.
