Falcons Can’t Catch Up To Cavaliers
Falcons watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 17-3 loss to Cavaliers on Friday. Cavaliers scored on a single by Paul T, a wild pitch during Roberto S’s at bat, a single by Kenji P, an error, a single by Thomas V, a single by Liam G, a single by Paul, and an error in the first inning.
The Falcons struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Cavaliers, giving up 17 runs.
Cavaliers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Paul singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Roberto got the start for Cavaliers. He allowed three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Yilber C led things off on the hill for Falcons. He lasted one-third of an inning, allowing three hits and six runs. Paul K, Jorrit P, Lowe J, and Elijah R each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, one inning, and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Pavel J, Lowe, Jayden F, D’Mani B, Paul, and Yilber each collected one hit to lead Falcons.
Cavaliers racked up 13 hits. Amarensio F, Liam, Paul, and Thomas each racked up multiple hits for Cavaliers. Amarensio led Cavaliers with three hits in three at bats.
