\Vikings Outdone By U15 Chargers, 4-3

Chargers got on the board in the first inning when Darnel Collins hit a solo homer.

Vikings knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Lukas Jellnor hit a solo homer.

Chargers pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Collinshomered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Brandon Herbold got the start for Chargers. He allowed two hits and one run over three and a third innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Finn Kragt led things off on the mound for Vikings. He lasted four innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one. Sam Korbijn threw two innings in relief.

Vikings smacked one home run on the day. Jellnor went yard in the second inning.

Vikings racked up five hits on the day. Korbijn and Jellnor each had multiple hits for Vikings. Jellnor and Korbijn each collected two hits to lead Vikings.

Collins went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Chargers in hits.
