Cavaliers Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Cavaliers fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-6 loss to Bombers on Wednesday. Bombers scored on a single by Leandro S, a groundout by Ryota N, and an error in the first inning.
Despite the loss, Cavaliers did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Bombers had 11 hits on the way to victory.
Bombers got things moving in the first inning, when Leandro singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Cavaliers put up four runs in the sixth inning. Cavaliers’s offense in the inning came from a single by Chase B, a home run by Paul T, and a groundout by Roberto S.
Bombers scored four runs in the fourth inning. Bombers batters contributing to the big inning included Leandro and Matteo P, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Marc W led things off on the hill for Bombers. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Junairo O was on the mound for Cavaliers. He surrendered four runs on four hits over two and a third innings, striking out two. Zico A, Sinan T, and Kyan B each contributed in relief for Cavaliers.
Cavaliers tallied one home run on the day. Paul put one out in the sixth inning.
Paul went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Cavaliers in hits.
Bombers had 11 hits in the game. Jamie B and Leandro all managed multiple hits for Bombers.
