codecentric joins a powerful line-up of BATC Baseball sponsors

“That is one powerful deal!” Europe’s premier U12, U15 and U18 baseball tournament has a new major backer in the lineup of The Battle at the Castle sponsors: codecentric.

codecentric, based in Breda and Amsterdam, is a leading IT consulting company focused on agile software development, performance and big data. With a proven track record in providing intelligent solutions for enhancing their customers core processes and their data driven decisionmaking processes, they are a must have for all growth mindset companies that want to take the next step in the digital world.

Paul Bun on adding codecentric: “Well, it is a joy for us to see local companies with countrywide and Europe-wide impact having an interest to support our baseball tournament. Ofcourse baseball is not one of the major sports in The Netherlands, so it is hard to interest companies to back the sport. As a sport and as a tournament, we have to be more inventive on how we can keep attracting leading companies like codecentric to baseball, and specifically Battle at the Castle Baseball. Doing business with them is a start, but we will give this option a push: we are not going to interest codecentric in dutch and European Baseball, but we are going to interest baseball in codecentric. Known as a somewhat distinguished game, playing chess on a field, baseball might be able to offer something codecentric is interested in: smart thinking. Can baseball be a new resource for codecentric to add first class people to their team? We’ll give this a shot. But we are absolutely the happiest baseball tournament with a new partner like codecentric.”

Joost van der Pols, CEO of codecentric: “codecentric is all about team, perfectionism and improving every day to make the best software for our clients! We are happy to support Battle at the Castle 2018. This great European event for youth is all about the passion to make progress together. The great combination of competition, collaboration and sportsmanship lead up to pushing boundaries. We wish both organizers and participants a great event end of July. Go for it and have fun.”
