***Press release***Registrations for the 2014 BATC Tournament open!***
The preparations for the 2014 BATC Tournament have officially started today, january 1st 2014. It will be tough to beat the atmosphere, game intensity and level of play at last year’s tournament. But we are dedicated to bring the tournament a level higher in all aspects. We want to be the greatest 12U baseball tournament in Europe in terms of level of play, generating baseball experience and being a meeting place for kids with the same desire to play the game. The 2013 tournament saw a lot of friendships made just by playing the game and competing and accomplishing goals together. It will be fun again to show European 12U baseball at its best and if you want to be a part of it, you first have to register yourself or your kid to play. By the end of april in 2014 we will announce the 56 players that are invited to play the tournament for the Admirals, Bombers, Cavaliers or Falcons. The game is on!
About the BATC Tournament The Battle at the Castle is a 12U summer league tournament based in Oosterhout the Netherlands. The mission of the BATC Tournament is to provide a first-class 12U summer program dedicated to helping young athletes achieve their dreams of playing at the highest possible level. This aluminum bat tournament showcases some of the top talent in Europe while providing exciting entertainment for families and the Oosterhout community. The tournament is open for players from all over the world that share the passion for baseball and make new friends through the sport. The league consists of four teams: Admirals, Bombers, Cavaliers and Falcons. Each year the tournament organisation sets the team rosters from the list of registered players in april or may of the tournament year. Players typically play their regular season with their European clubs or with their local USSSA teams.
