Lumberjacks Sets The Stage For Victory With Early Lead Over Titans
Lumberjacks jumped out to an early lead over Titans and took home a 10-4 victory on Thursday. Lumberjacks scored on a single by Marc Doray in the first inning and a single by Deante Johnson in the second inning.
Lumberjacks earned the victory despite allowing Titans to score three runs in the second inning. Jack Wagner and Daan Verpaalen each had RBIs in the frame.
Lumberjacks pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Johnson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Lumberjacks notched three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Lumberjacks was led by Lucas Vos and Johnson, all driving in runs in the frame.
