Bombers Stays Scrappy In Loss To Admirals

Bombers fought back after falling down by four runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 7-6 defeat to Admirals on Friday. Bombers scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Lucas R in the second, a single by Noah D in the second, a groundout by Matteo P in the third, and a double by Camilo A in the fourth.

Bombers fell behind early in the loss. Admirals scored on a single by Otis W, a single by Kimi V, and a single by Finn S in the first inning.

Admirals got things moving in the first inning.  Admirals scored one run when Otis singled.

Bruno K led things off on the mound for Admirals. He surrendered five runs on six hits over four and a third innings, striking out two and walking one.

Tobias I toed the rubber for Bombers. He went one and one-third innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking one. Kjell R and Daan B entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

Bombers racked up eight hits in the game. Leandro S, Camilo, and Noah all managed multiple hits for Bombers. Noah, Camilo, and Leandro each collected two hits to lead Bombers.

Admirals collected 14 hits on the day. Otis, Mauricio M, and Alex G all collected multiple hits for Admirals.
