The Battle at the Castle tournament is proud to announce coach Folkwin Lautenslager signing up for his third tour as BATC Admirals manager. In 2013 Lautenslager led the Admirals to the grand final of the tournament only to lose to the Bombers in an action packed tournament. In 2014 the Admirals took only losses, but the hand of Lautenslager and his 2014 staff was visible in the growth of the team as the tournament progressed. The team endured the longest and loudest cheers of the massive crowd in their final tournament game where they fought like true Admirals but surrendering 7-6 on a stunning walkoff performance by the BATC Falcons.berryjam.ru

Lautenslager adds: “It is an honour to manage the Admirals again, and hopefully lead them to the first championship at the Battle at the Castle tournament. Where the CBLE Admirals showed the way with winning two CBLE tournament championships, it is time for these young kids to live up to their big brothers and take the crown in 2015. Utilising talent, teambonding and fighting spirit are key factors in my approach of the game and I am confident that these ingredients will lead to success. Together with the 2015 coachingstaff, I am looking forward to july to bring something extra to these young athletes in their baseball careers.”

Asked on the signing of the 2015 BATC Admirals manager, Paul Bun comments: “In the short history of the Battle at the Castle tournaments, Folkwin already has established himself as a valuable asset to the tournament. His analytic approach, positive attitude, baseball knowlegde and teaching skills make him a great youth coach. We are truly delighted that we were able to sign him again to help build a great 2015 tournament.”
